Try out these Shockwave demos of INM GoldenGate. They access MS SQL databases hosted on our GoldenGate server. Then download the sample files below and experiment with them on your own.

The combination of INM GoldenGate Database Connector and an MS SQL Server
enables efficient content management, lower production costs, easy updating and search capabilities -- benefits to both developer and end-user. This model can easily be adapted to other types of projects, such as training, education, games, sales material, etc. .
In this interactive game the questions, answers and user's scores are stored in a MS SQL database. Play the Shockwave movie.
These demos require Macromedia Shockwave Player, and the INM GoldenGate Client Xtra (100KB). You will be prompted to download them if needed.
GoldenGate Database Connector's mission is to let you easily use databases from Director and Authorware, at the lowest possible development and maintenance cost. These samples perform common E-Learning tasks that can be easily extended to other database-related projects. Here's how:
- Run the Logon Sample and/or the Reporting Sample to get a feel of what they do.
- Download the corresponding Director movies (version 7 or later) and find out how simple it is to use GoldenGate compared to any alternative.
- Download the First Steps manual and get your hands dirty while learning GoldenGate's basics and enhancing the Logon Sample below. This guided tour will require about 30 minutes of your time.
At your first access, you will be prompted to accept or refuse the installation of the GoldenGate Client Xtra on your computer. Click accept. The samples use an MS SQL Server hosted by Integration New Media. Director samples require the Shockwave Player. Authorware samples require the Authorware Player.
This sample demonstrates the user logon and authentication mechanism. Lets user logon with a known ID/password or create one. With the help of the First Steps manual, you can add a Modify Account feature.
In addition, the First Steps Manual is step-by-step guided tour of this sample and hands-on exercise. This tutorial will require about 30 minutes of your time.

While INM attempts to check INM GoldenGate compatibility with most major databases, we are aware there are many ODBC packages that we might not have tested. This tool allows the user to check for most level 2 functions required by INM GoldenGate.
Note: even if the ODBC tool says the database supports all necessary functions, you might need to adapt your code to a specific database syntax.
